SS-500/501 Speed Switch

MODEL SS-500

The model SS-500 speed sensor switch is a fully digital unit, designed to withstand the rigors of harsh Mining conditions.

The model SS-500 speed switch is designed for applications requiring direct coupling to any pulley or similar drive mechanism.

The SS-500 is supplied with a 15mm diameter drive shaft, 150mm long (which may be cut to suit the length required).

THE SS-500 SPEED SWITCH CAN PROVIDE:

  • Fail-safe SPDT relay to indicate Belt Speed below the set value.
  • 4-20mA output proportional to Belt Speed.
  • Heartbeat output (with programmable beat rate). Allows the ouput of pulses when the speed is in a safe zone (not in alarm). The monitoring system can generate alarm for any attempt to shunt the output.
  • Pulsed Output proportional to speed – pulses are programmable.

Model SS-501

The model SS-501 features a built in drive (mounting) arrangement – requiring only a cross support specific to the conveyor belt width.

The SS-501 speed switch is a fully digital unit, designed to withstand the rigours of harsh mining conditions.

The SS-501 is suitable for measurement on conveyor belt speeds in the range 14 m/min to 670 m/min.

Model SS-2501

The model SS-501 features a built in drive (mounting) arrangement – requiring only a cross support specific to the conveyor belt width.

The SS-501 speed switch is a fully digital unit, designed to withstand the rigours of harsh mining conditions.

The SS-501 is suitable for measurement on conveyor belt speeds in the range 14 m/min to 670 m/min.
