Description
The Process Automation Tilt Switch is normally suspended vertically, providing a volt-free relay ouput whenever the probe is moved from the vertical by more than approx. 25 degrees on any axis.
The hermetically sealed relay is mercury free, thereby protecting the environment from heavy metal contamination in the event of damage/destruction.
It may be used in applications for solids and liquids such as:
- Empty Conveyor Belt Detection
- Bin High Level
- Stockpile High Level
- Blocked/Plugged Chute Detection
- Material No Flow Alarm
- etc…
Options to the Probe include:
- Replaceable wear extensions
- Floats (for liquids)
